Bradsroom Hair Studio Competition Gallery

At Bradsroom Hair Studio, sometimes our daily routine does not stretch the mind, so as a creative team we sometimes enter competitions and regularly use in house training to be a little more expressive. For the L’Oreal colour trophy the criteria was to predict a look for autumn winter 2005-2006 so the following photos represented Bradsrooms entry. Taking influence from film icons such as Nicole Kidman and Elizabeth Taylor, looking at fashion from the late 50's early 60's and present day whilst keeping the look classy with a modern day feel.

We take a great deal of influence from VOGUE magazine. Schwarzkopf gave us an in house task at one of our educational training achievements to predict and create a look for spring, summer 2007. As a salon we really enjoyed this task, presenting two different looks: one was very colourful predicting bright vibrant colours, soft flowing textures, this was followed across the spectrum of fashion, media, advertising, home furnishings and paint palettes. Let's not forget the United Colours of Benetton as we travelled in time. The second was an achromatic look using cool colours such as black, white, silver and grey. Influences came from groups like The Jam, The Clash and earlier The Beatles.
